 Looe

Popular golden sandy beach in East Looe.

 Polperro

Small beach by harbour at low tide only.

 Hannafore

Located round the headland from West Looe. Small areas of shingle/sand. Excellent for exploring the vast rock pools at low tide. Cafe.

 Millendreath

Located about a mile east of Looe (about 2miles drive). Quieter location with grey sand/shingle.

 Plaidy Beach

Small beach between Looe and Millendreath. A pleasant cliff walk from Looe heading East. No facilities.

 Seaton

Large sandy/pebbly beach about 5 miles east of Looe. Pub.

 Whitsand Bay

Enormous 3 mile long sandy beach but limited steep access. Bathing can be dangerous due to rip currents. Flat beach which is mostly covered at high tide. No facilities.

 Talland Bay

Pebbly beach between Looe and Polperro. Lovelly to walk to beyond Hannafore. Two cafes.

 Readymoney Cove, Fowey

Small sandy beach near Fowey. Toilets.

 Poperro

Historic fishing village 5 miles away. Can walk to via a wonderful cliff path  via Talland and take bus back (check times)

 Fowey -pronounced 'Foy'

Town set on the banks of the Fowey river. Park in Polruan and take the passenger ferry to avoid queues on car ferry and parking in Fowey or longer drive round.

 Lleryn

Peaceful village with river walks and stepping stones.

 Lostwithiel

Historic town famous for its antique shops.

Lanhydrock: magnificent late Victorian Country House with large gardens.

Antony: 18thC mansion in parkland and gardens. Also next to private woodland garden.

Cotehele: Medieval house with grounds leading to a quay. Also working watermill.
